Cheesy platform game
If you're trying to sniff out a fun platform game for your iPhone then Rat On The Run could be right up your alley.
Rat On The Run casts you in the role of a lovable rodent called Ratty, who is on a mission to find as much cheese as he can. In order to do this you need to scale platforms, dodge baddies and avoid fire and spikes. To control Ratty, you tap the screen to start him walking and he will automatically pause when he gets to a stop sign. Jumping is also controlled by tapping the screen. In fact, running and jumping is all you can really do in Rat On The Run, so it actually feels more like a puzzle game than a platformer at times.
There are three different games modes in Rat On The Run: 'Challenges', where you need to fill Ratty's belly with cheese before the time runs out; 'Arcade Play', in which you play against the high scores table; and 'Rat On A Scooter', which is a fun bonus driving game.
Rat On The Run is not only great fun to play, but it looks and sounds brilliant too. The cartoony graphics are excellent, as are is the dramatic music
Rat On The Run is one of those games you can come back to time and again for guaranteed fun.
